This is how Melbournians greet sunshine! Frolicking on the beach, as long as it’s within our 5ks of course. Possibly singing aloud? Definitely laughing maniacally!
Because after the year we’ve had, we need this kind of joyous freedom!.
If there’s any little part of you looking at this and thinking “eeeps, no way I’m ready to jump about in a bikini”, know that you are not alone. Quarantine has not been kind to many of us. Stress, carbs, lack of exercise, wine, home schooling, pandemic news listening, isolating and general ‘meh’ means that many of us are feeling less than bikini-ready right now.
And that’s OK. Baby steps will do this year. With this fine weather comes fresh salad, luscious stone fruits and overall better eating. That will help.
Our children are slowly but surely returning to schools. That will also help. Exercising with more than one person might be a thing soon too and all of this light at the end of the tunnel is bound to put a pep in our steps!
Plus, after October 26th (potentially), or November 23rd, most definitely, I will be here to help you shift any of that excess fat that you’re not happy with, and tone up any skin that needs some TLC and shift those annoying cellulite dimples that seem to have gotten worse during lockdown.
