Endermologie treatment for scars
This is such a great video to demonstrate what a c-section involves and how many layers of tissues are damaged to get to baby.
Even in a ‘natural’ delivery, fibrotic adhesions (i.e. scar tissue) can occur. This in turn can cause obstructions in blood and lymphatic circulation which allows a build up of fluid and eventually expansion of fat cells in the area, causing that pouch or overhang that so many post-partum Mums dislike.
As an ex-nurse and Endermologie therapist I recognise that treating a c-section scar is not as straightforward as treating what we see on the skin’s surface, and in fact the adhesions that can cause the most problems are often much deeper.
Hope this helps you to understand why Endermologie is the perfect solution to these scars and resulting issues as it works through all of these layers.
