Endermologie has been proven effective over 30 years and across different treatment areas in over 150 clinical trials.

A calm, welcoming introduction to your Endermologie experience
If you’re considering Endermologie, you may be wondering what happens during your first appointment, how to prepare, and whether you’ll feel comfortable. Many clients tell me they felt a little nervous before their first session, especially if they’ve had past experiences where they felt rushed, judged, or unsure about what they were signing up for.
Your Consultation & Discovery Treatment at Peninsula Endermologie is designed to be the opposite of that.
It’s intentionally unrushed, supportive and private – a thoughtful conversation that helps us understand what you’re experiencing and what changes you’re hoping to see or feel in your body. There is no pressure, no hard sell, and no expectation that you already know what you need.
What is a Discovery Session?
Your Discovery Session is a 90-minute appointment that includes:
- A warm welcome & conversation about your goals
- Review of relevant medical and treatment history
- Physical assessment and body-mapping where relevant
- Your first Endermologie treatment
- Discussion of treatment planning, frequency and expectations
- A personalised recommendation based on your needs
Every body is unique – and every plan is tailored accordingly.
How to prepare
No special preparation is required – but here are a few things that can help you feel comfortable and get the most from your time:
Wear comfortable clothing
Many clients come in activewear or loose clothing that’s easy to change out of – especially if we’re focusing on a body treatment where you may be asked to change into a body ‘stocking’.
Hydrate well before and after
Supporting circulation and lymphatic flow helps your body respond effectively.
Avoid applying heavy lotions before treatment
So the treatment suit sits comfortably on the skin.
Bring any relevant medical or surgical information
Medication list, imaging (if applicable), or surgeon guidance for post-operative clients.
What happens during treatment
Depending on the concern we’re treating, Endermologie usually feels like a rhythmic, deep-tissue massage. It is usually deeply relaxing but every person has different tolerances to touch. Niamh’s goal is to make your Endermologie experience beneficial and enjoyable, so she’ll continually check-in to make sure you are comfortable.
Most people describe feeling:
lighter, warmer, more grounded and more connected to their body
Some notice an immediate reduction in fluid retention or areas of tightness. For others, changes unfold gently over the first few sessions as rhythm builds.
What we’ll explore together
We’ll talk about:
- What you’re noticing in your body
- What’s changed recently (lifestyle, surgery, hormones, stress, weight, energy)
- What results would feel meaningful or supportive
- Your timeline, budget and preferences
- What you’ve tried before and how it felt
This is where we map a path that feels safe, supportive and achievable – not overwhelming.
Who this session is ideal for
A Discovery Session is helpful if you:
- Feel “puffy”, heavy or swollen
- Experience discomfort, tightness or restricted movement
- Are preparing for or recovering from surgery
- Feel disconnected from your body or nervous-system overloaded
- Are navigating hormonal changes including perimenopause
- Are feeling self-conscious about an aesthetic concern and want a natural solution
- Have been considering Endermologie, or other treatments, but want clarity before committing
What happens next
Some people choose to begin a structured program straight away.
Others prefer a more gradual pace or occasional maintenance treatments.
There is no pressure to purchase packages or commit to future treatments — this is your process.
A softer approach to caring for your body
Niamh believes that bodies respond best to respect, rhythm and safety — not force or urgency.
Your Discovery Session is an invitation to reconnect with your body and explore what support could feel good.
